When I wrote my last post about the Read Dating event at Bourne Town Hall, I provided names and pictures of the authors who’d be there. Since then, I’ve realised there was more I could add (I really must learn to read a leaflet properly).
If you’ve been wondering whether or not to come along and join in the fun, this might be the final bit you need to tip the balance.
As you’ll see, there’s a wide range of talent here, with different genres of fiction as well as non-fiction, so the chances are there’s something in there for most readers. I think it’ll be a really interesting afternoon, and I hope I’ll get to see some of you there.
Remember, it’s on at Bourne Old Town Hall on Saturday 15th February – only two weeks away. To get tickets, click here and scroll down. You know you want to…
I LOVE the play on words, that’s hilarious! I don’t think we have any events like that near me but I’ll certainly look out for them, it sounds like a really fun afternoon, I’m sure it will be well attended 🙂
Thanks, Lisa. I think it must be a relatively new idea, but I am hearing of other ones that are taking place, so keep an eye out. I went to one last May, but as a reader not a writer, and got to talk to some really interesting authors. It led me to read some books I wouldn’t otherwise have come across. Some were good, some bad, but I’m glad I went. Hopefully it’ll be the same for anyone who comes along to this one.
