Every now and again, the opportunity crops up to be interviewed, and that means you get the chance to expose your soul (assuming you have one) to the world. Nowadays, a lot of these interviews take place on the blog sites of enthusiastic readers and, in the process, your words are shared with the followers of those bloggers.
With the growth in blogging and the range of bloggers who read and review books, authors now have a group of extremely valuable allies, who are willing to share our work and thoughts – no matter how mundane they might be – with their followers.
The risk with having so many book bloggers doing interviews could be that the questions they ask all become very similar. That’s the risk, but they don’t generally fall into that trap, coming up with some original, sometimes quirky, takes on the Q&A front.
A case in point is this recent interview by Faye Rogers
