The Bloggers Bash was held in May this year, and I was quite heavily involved in the arrangements in the run up to it and on the day. Some bright spark decided I should act as MC for the day. For those of you who have already seen this photo, I can assure you I was not in the middle of a power ballad.
I’ve been to every one of the four Bashes since the event was launched, and thoroughly enjoyed each of them. It’s great to meet a range of different people from all parts of the country – and even different parts of the world. You would think bloggers were relatively anti-social, and perhaps some of them are, but most of the people I’ve met have been great company.
It was at this year’s event that I met Zoe from Zooloos Book Diary, someone clearly very passionate about books and reading, but also has a sparky presence that keeps you on your toes. An outcome of that meeting was her agreement to read and review Ravens Gathering, which she ended up doing as part of my recent blog tour.
I hope you’ll enjoy reading her review, but also take some time to have a look around her site, as there are plenty of other books she’s read and reviewed. Click on the book cover below to see what she has to say about Ravens Gathering.

Ah thanks Graeme for this π Really kind of you to say! So glad I got to meet you that day and the chance to read your book. Something everyone needs to do!
It was a pleasure to meet you too, Zoe. I take it you’re still on for next year’s Bash (a date will be announced very soon).
As for everyone needing to read Ravens Gathering… Hmmm. There was a time when I’d have seen it as having a limited market, but it’s clear from the feedback I’m getting that it is appealing to a lot more people than I thought it would. So maybe you’re right!
Yes I will be back for sure! Was good fun! Be nice to catch up with you again. Itβs amazing feedback! So the doubt can slowly ebb itself away!
I’ll look forward to seeing you there. The doubt is going. Just need to get the second book out now.
Yes me too! Look forward to the second book π
