What an incredible novel. Cumming’s strong and authentic writing explores the murkiest worlds of covert policing in the most gripping and compelling way. Exquisitely plotted and expertly told.

Obviously, I couldn’t agree more with Graham Bartlett’s comments. Or thank him enough for reading Borderline and gently pointing out what was wrong with it. Anyway, I am grateful to Graham, Lauren and all the other people who have kindly read and given feedback on the first in the series. (And the consensus was that it needed a series.)

And now it’s out in the world, so please make a proud author very happy and read it, share it, tell your friends, your neighbours and family members about it. I don’t normally make a big thing of stuff I’ve done, but because everyone has been so positive about it, I feel confident that, if you like a good crime thriller, there’s a very good chance you’re going to love this.

I received advance notice of a review that should be added in the next day or so. It isn’t from another author, book blogger or anyone else entangled in the industry. This is just an average reader, and the heading is:
